Menopause & Perimenopause Consultations

Expert, compassionate support – tailored entirely to you.

Menopause is not “just something to put up with.”

For many women, it can feel confusing, overwhelming, and at times completely life-altering. Changes in mood, sleep, weight, confidence, libido, brain fog, anxiety, hot flushes or joint pain can creep in slowly — or arrive all at once — leaving you feeling unlike yourself.

At Trace Medispa™, we offer specialist menopause and perimenopause consultations with Dr Sarah Spencer, an experienced Women’s Health GP, providing evidence-based, personalised care in a calm, supportive environment.

This is a space where you will be listened to, believed, and supported.

Specialist Menopause GP Care

The average age for women in the UK to reach menopause is 51, yet women now spend over a third of their lives in low-oestrogen states. Despite this, many feel dismissed, under-informed, or unsure where to turn.

Menopause is not one-size-fits-all. Your symptoms, health history, lifestyle, and priorities are unique — and your care should be too.

Dr Spencer takes the time to:

  • Explore your full symptom picture, not just hormones

  • Explain what is happening in your body in clear, reassuring language

  • Discuss HRT options, benefits and risks where appropriate

  • Offer non-hormonal and lifestyle-based strategies alongside medical treatment

  • Create a plan that supports both your short-term wellbeing and long-term health

You do not need to “wait until it’s worse” — early support can make a profound difference

Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT)

HRT can be life-changing for many women, but it isn’t right for everyone — and it should never feel rushed or confusing.

During your consultation, we will:

  • Assess whether HRT is appropriate for you

  • Discuss different types of HRT (body-identical, transdermal, oral)

  • Explain benefits, risks, and safety considerations

  • Answer your questions honestly and thoroughly

  • Ensure decisions are made with you, not for you

Prescriptions for HRT are provided separately, ensuring treatment remains fully personalised and clinically appropriate.

Appointment Options

Menopause Consultation – £250 (60 minutes)

A comprehensive, in-depth assessment of symptoms, medical history, and treatment options.

Menopause Follow-Up Appointment – £125 (30 minutes)

For ongoing support, medication review, and treatment optimisation.

Preparing for Your Menopause Appointment

To help you get the most from your consultation, we recommend:

  • Having your weight, height, and blood pressure available (home readings are acceptable)

  • Completing the Greene Climacteric Scale (sent prior to your appointment)

  • Bringing a list of:

    • Current medications and supplements

    • Existing medical conditions

    • Relevant family history (including breast, ovarian or womb cancer, blood clots, heart disease or stroke)

If you have a personal history of cancer or complex medical needs, Dr Spencer may liaise with your NHS specialists to ensure safe, joined-up care.

You Don’t Have to Do This Alone

Menopause is a transition — not an ending.

With the right support, clarity, and care, many women feel stronger, clearer, and more themselves than they have in years.

If you are ready to feel heard, supported, and guided by a menopause specialist who truly understands women’s health, we are here for you.
